Golf Cart Rental Pro comes from RV Business Tech, which builds reservation and operations software for RV parks and resorts. The cart system exists because park operators kept asking for it.
Why it exists
Parks running our reservation software kept describing the same problem. The cart fleet was the one part of the operation still on paper. Bookings were taken on a clipboard, payment was a card reader in a drawer, and the only person who knew which cart was where was whoever happened to be on shift.
We looked at what existed and none of it fit. The rental software was built for cars and did not understand a fleet parked inside a resort. The park software treated a cart as a line item rather than an asset that needs servicing. So we built the thing that was missing.
It runs on real fleets today, and it gets better because operators tell us what is still annoying about it.
